We collect only the minimum amount of information needed to provide you with our Services. Importantly, we do not store your source code. We only store metadata, relationships, and structural information about your codebase to build knowledge graphs that enhance our AI-powered services.

- Personal Information: In the course of registering an account on our Services, we collect information that identifies you as a specific individual and can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Information"). Examples include your name and email.
- Payment Information: We may process payment information such as credit card, billing address, and other financial information. We do not store this directly — it is handled by Authorized Service Providers.
- User Contributions: Posts, feedback, or tickets submitted may be public or accessible by others.
When you provide information for an activity or service, you consent to receiving communications from CodeKnack.

- No Source Code Storage: Your code remains in your repos.
- Metadata Only: We store structure, dependencies, and knowledge graphs.
- Temporary Access: Access is discarded after processing.
- Complete Deletion: Workspace deletions remove all data permanently.
3. Children’s Privacy
Services are for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide accounts and services.
- Build knowledge graphs and analysis.
- Deliver and process payments.
- Improve services and workflows.
- Communicate and market.
- Comply with legal requirements.

- Workspace Deletion: Removes all metadata, knowledge graphs, insights, and settings.
- E-Mail Opt-Out: Stop marketing emails but still receive transactional messages.
European Residents (GDPR)
- Rights include access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability.
- Requests answered within 30 days.
California Residents (CCPA)
- Rights include knowing, deleting, and non-discrimination.
- CodeKnack does not sell personal data.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the U.S. By using Services, you consent to this transfer and agree to comply with applicable U.S. laws.
8. Data Security
We use organizational, technical, and physical safeguards. Still, no system is fully secure. You are responsible for your account’s security.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data as long as necessary for services, legal obligations, or legitimate business purposes.
10. Data Storage for Service Improvement
We may store metadata for service improvement (graphs, embeddings, insights, configs). You can opt out anytime. Data is deleted when a workspace is deleted.
11. No Training on Your Data
We do not use your code, metadata, or derived information to train any AI models — ours or third parties.
12. Intellectual Property Protection
- You retain ownership of your code.
- Metadata remains your property.
- No sharing between customers.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Material changes update the "Last Modified" date.
